Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Adapt existing photographic images and create new digitized images to be included in multimedia/newmedia products. Operate computers to manipulate photographic images. Study requirements of a particular assignment and decide on type of camera, film, lighting and background accessories to be used. Take pictures of individuals, families, groups and public. Use airbrush, computer or other techniques to retouch negatives. Use delicate instruments, such as optical microscopes attached to cameras. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Lightroom. Photographic techniques: Black and white. Digital photo imaging. Macrophotography. Adobe Photoshop. Photographic experience: General. Commercial or press. Fashion. Portraiture. Business. Multimedia. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
