Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate and tend equipment to glue, press, trim, sand and splice veneer sheets. Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications. Assemble plywood panels. Repair plywood and veneer mechanically or manually. Start up, shut down, set up and adjust process equipment or machines. Type of product: Hardboards. Particle boards. Plywood. Veneers. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Gloves. Steel-toed safety boots.
