Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Construction specialization: Driveways. Pipelines. Residential. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks.
