Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Treat livestock health issues. Work with honey bees. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Honey farm. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
