Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Floriculture production. Wet/damp. Odours. Hot. Non-smoking. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Write daily basic progress reports. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Pot and re-pot plants. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
