Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Broiler and other meat-type chicken production. Chicken farming. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 11-15 people. Area of specialization: Poultry. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
