Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Maintain work records and logs. Tender and administer contracts. Repair and maintain equipment. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Establish work schedules and procedures. Supervision: 11-15 people. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Judgement. Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.).
