We are actively seeking a dedicated Marine HVAC-R Technician/Installer. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative team spirit, a proactive approach, and a strong work ethic.
Your Role:
As a HVAC-R Technician/Installer, you'll handle essential maintenance and repair of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and marine water maker units. You'll be involved in installing new and replacement parts. This pivotal role reports to our Service Manager.
Your Daily Impact:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with marine air conditioning, refrigeration, water maker, and heating systems.
- Install and connect equipment to necessary resources, ensuring a complete and functional setup.
- Lay out and connect electrical wiring as per schematic requirements.
- Expertise in pipe/hose joint assembly and testing.
- Rigorous testing and reassembly post-repair.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Adherence to safety, policy, and cleanliness standards.
- System inspections to guarantee compliance with design specifications.
What We Look For:
- HVAC-R certification.
- Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel within the service region.
- Over 5 years experience in HVAC-R, with a preference for marine-specific knowledge.
- Ozone depletion ticket considered an asset.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working in confined marine environments.
- Strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
- Own your set of industry specific tools (favorable, but not required).

- 5+ years in HVAC-R (Essential).
- Red Seal (desired).
- DC electrical experience (desired).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
