We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support our project management team and ensure the smooth execution of construction projects.
*Position Overview:*
The Construction Project Coordinator will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role is crucial for maintaining project schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among all project stakeholders.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist Project Managers in the planning and coordination of construction projects.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Track project timelines and deadlines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing project-related correspondence.
* Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
* Monitor project progress and update project management software with current status and changes.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
*Qualifications:*
Graduated Post-Secondary Engineering / Technology Program.
* Previous experience (2+ years) in construction coordination or a related administrative role is preferred.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong computer skills, with ability to quickly learn new software tools
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
