Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Wet/damp. Odours. Noisy. Cold/refrigerated. All weather conditions. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Fruit and vegetable processing plant. Tasks: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Pack fruits and vegetables. Sort fruits and vegetables. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Pack and unpack goods. Type of crops: Vegetables. Type of operation: Packaging. Food specialties: Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity.
