Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Wrap and package prepared meats. Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure.
