Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Residential construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationLangley, BC
