FRENCH<p>IMMERSION TEACHING VACANCIES <p> <p>School District No. 48<p>(Sea to Sky) is currently accepting applications for French Immersion teachers<p>to work on-call in the Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton areas.<p> <p>At SD48, we<p>believe that diversity is a strength and inclusion is a right. Our common goal<p>is to design interdisciplinary and personalized instructional approaches to<p>create safe, purposeful and powerful learning environments in order that all<p>students can think critically, create, collaborate, contribute and learn. <p> <p>Teachers actively work on<p>teacher learning teams using collaborative models of support to co-plan,<p>co-teach and co-assess in an inclusive setting, using invisible<p>interventions. Teaching Certificate;<p> university<p> training, or its equivalent; and,<p> successful<p> teaching experience <p><p><p> Successful<p> applicants must have training and experience in French Immersion and<p> be bilingual. Familiarity with French Immersion language instruction<p> and familiarity with the BC Curriculum, Student Performance Standards and,<p> the BC Early Learning framework would be an asset.<p><p><p>Salary Range: $308.29 per day to $472.91 per day, based on category as assigned by the Teachers?
