Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Coordinate the movement of patients through the health care system. Ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are followed. Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients. Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures. Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel. Set up and co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services. Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and other nursing personnel. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by provincial authorities. Experience: 5 years or more. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan.
