Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Accounting firm. Tasks: Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems. Analyze clients' financial records. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies. Prepare financial statements and reports. Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Variance analysis. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Reconcile accounts.
