Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Perform receptionist duties. Maintain and order supplies. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Iron waving/curling. Permanents. Twisting. Pin curls. Hair colouring techniques: Bleach. Dyes/tints. Streaking/highlights. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
