Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Stock linen closet. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Handle and report lost and found items. Provide basic information on facilities. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Security and safety: Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
