Come and join our growing Team! The Prospec group of companies is an expanding company owned and based in Sudbury, Ontario. The Prospec group focuses on Engineering and Fabrication projects based mainly in Northern Ontario and primarily in the mining and heavy industrial sectors. We are a team of approximately 20 team members from labourers, apprentices and professionals. Since our founding, we?ve worked with numerous clients throughout the Northern Ontario area. We complete projects efficiently and on schedule, and go above and beyond to form lasting relationships with our clients. Prospec is currently looking to recruit a Press Brake Operator. Experience * Studying blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements * Setting a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications * Ensuring proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake * Monitoring the pressing process * Measuring and inspecting the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications * Troubleshooting and addressing problems that arise during the pressing process * Performing routine maintenance on the press brake * Complying with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility Work Conditions * Physically Demanding * Overtime may be required * Must possess valid driver's license For more information on Prospec Steel Fabrication Limited, please visit our website at www.prospecfab.com Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Millwright: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
