*Staging Assistant Job Description:*
As a staging assistant, you will be learning all aspects of staging a property to sell and how it differs from decorating. You will be able to identify what each room ?needs? to highlight features, remove distractions and make it pleasing to a wide range of buyers. You will be assisting with the entire staging process: pulling & packing inventory, loading the company van, unloading at the property, staging, and then cleaning & putting away all inventory that is returned to the warehouse.
As a staging assistant, you will be responsible for helping to maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and ensuring staging items are in good, clean condition. Potential for leading the staging projects is likely, should the candidate exhibit outstanding leadership or organizational and time management skills. The staging assistant will also learn how to complete a ?walk through?, taking thorough photos and leaving instructions for the client in the staging prep list and then going through the booklet with the client.
The TTG Staging Team also fulfills services such as packing and cleaning, if offered, to the client. As a staging assistant, you may be asked to assist in these areas and will adhere to the company standard.
The staging assistant will exhibit the following:
* Must be comfortable working as a contractor with anywhere between 0-30hrs+ per week.
* Must be available Monday ? Friday between 9:00am-3:00pm; busy weeks may require longer days.
* Must be physically fit and able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50lbs
* Must have the ability to put colors & accessories together
* Must have knowledge and aptitude around using Google suite & communication apps
* Must have a smartphone or android
* Must be willing to learn the principles of staging and adhere to them
* A driver?s license and own transportation is an asset.
* Must be comfortable with packing
* Must be comfortable with cleaning duties both at office and of homes prior to staging
* Must be comfortable covering the staging manager role, if needed
* Decorating or design knowledge is an asset
* Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 ? 30 per week
