As the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, you will contribute to the overall success of Human Resources activities ensuring goals, programs and initiatives are delivered in support of the HR Team's and the Business' strategies and objectives of the business. The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner reports to the Director, Human Resources Business Partner and delivers strategic talent initiatives by building relationships with key stakeholders within the HR community as well as the business. The Senior Manager Business Partner provides HR advice and counsel to senior management to help meet their business needs. You will also be a key contributor to cyclical programs and lead varying projects and initiatives. This is accomplished by leveraging Communities of Expertise (CoEs) for functional expertise and HR Services for reporting and operational support. This role will support Global Capital Markets, COO and Internal Control within Global Banking and Markets Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Participate in in the development of strategic business plans and subsequent talent strategies with HR and business line leaders to meet business objectives. Contribute to the delivery of talent strategies through insights, data and solutions to leaders on priorities and needs. Delivers input and feedback on program / policy design to the Director and CoEs and provide recommendations on program execution. Develop relationships with the business to provide value-added HR counsel aligned to business objectives. Champion a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and help the business achieve their overall financial and customer objectives. Collaborate with HR Services and CoEs to deploy cyclical programs such as employee engagement surveys, leadership resource planning, year-end performance management and compensation reviews. Collaborate with HR Services and CoEs to deploy projects and initiatives that are required to be executed in the areas of learning and development, recruitment and onboarding, transformation and change management, competitive market reviews, and total reward initiatives. Manage programs and projects including planning, implementation, coordination, communication and post mortem. Prepare and contributes to written communications to propose recommendations and / or update the business on initiatives as well as decks for business presentations and meetings. Champion a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment Collaborate with and supports all members of the HR community. Proactively utilize a wide range of HR data to identify themes, trends and correlations to make recommendations and effectively support HR strategies and programs to meet the business needs.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have: CHRP, CHRL or other HR designation, or in progress is an asset. Strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization. Able to collaborate with HR stakeholders and business partners and coach managers. Actively listens and seeks to understand needs with genuine curiosity. Strong writing skills to communicate business cases, decks and recommendations to varying levels of management. Prior business experience (non-HR) a definite asset. Ability to strategically influence and persuade senior leaders through relationships. Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note skills. Able to run basic reporting and queries. Identifies solutions through effective questioning and fact finding. Able to review data, glean insights and present findings aligned to the talent strategy or to solve a business problem. Unders
