The Meal Load Out Operator will have the following responsibilities:Responsible to work safely and to comply with all of Bunge s safety rules and procedures. Responsible for meal loading into rail cars and trucks. Responsible for general operating and housekeeping duties in the meal area.Responsible for general housekeeping and maintenance duties in the Crush Department.Expectations of the Meal Load Out Operator: Full knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in the Meal Loadout.Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures of the Rail Yard.To present to the public a positive image of the company designed to convey friendliness, honesty, and integrity of business conduct, as well as maintaining a customer farmer focus.Load train cars and trucks. Inspect each rail car and truck to ensure product integrity and safety. Reject cars and trucks that do not meet standards. Fill out the inspection forms. Make sure the product identifier is correct on the car. Be able to use GTM, SAP, and One Weigh Able to lift consistently up to 22.7 kg. Climb ladders, and to be able to do confined space entries.Sample and record representative samples for laboratory analysis on each load.After loading rail cars, check to make sure they are not leaking and complete "affidavit of Loading" sheet and any other informational papers as required.Check storage tank levels to prevent tank overflows and for inventory checks.Check and clean dust collecting systems to ensure they are working properly.Must be on time for each shift and stay over until replaced by the next operator when another operator is scheduled. Must clean up according to operator clean up duties. Perform minor maintenance on equipment when time allows or directed by supervision.Keep up to date on all inhouse and on line training Perform any other related duties as required, or requested by Crush Management.Team Responsibilities: Together with other operators, must maintain the meal room, meal storage and loading in good, safe operating condition. Each operator must perform an equal share of clean up duties.Key Performance Areas: Full knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.Working knowledge of equipment. Ability to train newly hired operators. Good attitude towards duties and supervisor. Reliability to carry out duties and follow instructions. Initiative or performance without supervision. Effective co-operation with other employees. Housekeeping.Qualifications: Grade 12 education or equivalent. Agricultural background is an asset.Good mechanical aptitude. Good computer/ keyboard skills. Able to lift consistently up to 22.7 kg. Must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces.Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.
