Regional District of Mount WaddingtonOperations TechnicianThe Regional District of Mount Waddington (RDMW) is seeking an Operations Technician to support services related to water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, solid waste, fire protection, and transportation infrastructure. The preferred candidate will have a technical diploma from a recognized institution with respect to engineering technology or related discipline. Experience working in a project management capacity, in local government, and with knowledge, use and experience in matters pertaining to water, wastewater, solid waste, fire protection, or transportation is an asset. The position is based at the RDMW?s office located at 2044 McNeill Rd in Port McNeill on northern Vancouver Island. This is a union position with a 35-hour work week, includes a generous benefit plan, and the rate of pay of $34.87 per hour per the role and wage of Step 4 in the RDMW Collective Agreement.
