*Summary *
Stephano Group Ltd. is a proud, family owned, Canadian food processing company. We are seeking a highly motivated production manager to join our growing team.
The production manager is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, supervising production staff, organizing and monitoring a safe work environment, developing a culture of continuous improvement and acts as a mentor to support team in development.
*Main Responsibilities: *
* Oversee production operations, management and supervision of production staff.
* Create and implement weekly production schedule.
* Ensure production schedule and targets are met within set time frame.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, workflow, employee culture and operational efficiency.
* Serve as a liaison between production and other departments to align with company policies and procedures.
* Educate and direct personnel on the use of control points, equipment and resources.
* Monitor and analyze KPIs and continuous improvement measures.
* Maintain, follows and implement the HACCP program and Corporate Quality Management System.
* Maintain a safe and organized working environment, identifying and reporting safety concerns, and adhering to all safety programs and practices.
* Lead and build a diverse team of skilled employees to drive peak performance and invigorate the workforce.
* Develop and mentor employees through training, providing support, identifying performance concerns, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering a positive culture.
* Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all production paperwork.
* Complete various production records and verify completion and accuracy of required daily paperwork.
* Facilitate communication with clients and respond to customer requests.
*Qualifications:*
* Good practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety
* A minimum of 3 years experience supervising a team.
* A minimum of 2 years experience in food manufacturing.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot minor adjustments to equipment.
* Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, grip, pull repetitively, and lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work on feet for duration of shift.
* Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships and work effectively with others.
* Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handles conflict and crisis situations.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills.
