Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Confined spaces. At heights. Work setting: Pest control service company. Inspection. Tasks: Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation. Determine type of treatment required. Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas. Fumigate households. Place and set traps to capture and remove animals. Clean out areas that harbour pests. Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Driver's abstract. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability.
