Grand Erie Learning Alternatives Continuing Education <p>Hairstyling Teacher* at GELA-Rawdon <p> QUALIFICATIONS : Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in the Intermediate/Senior Divisions in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations.<p>*NOTE: Positions marked with an asterisk require additional qualifications, as applicable, in:<p>* Technological Studies Hairstyling and Aesthetics plus Hairstyling certificate of qualification from the Skilled Trades Ontario in good standing<p>EFFECTIVE DATE : October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025<p>HOURS OF WORK: Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.<p>RATE: $49.25 per hour (plus vacation pay)<p>NOTE: The subject area will be offered subject to sufficient registration. <p> This posting is open to all qualified applicants, including those external to the Board. APPLY: Current contract teachers may apply directly to the principal of the school, Jeff Allison.<p>The only way that applications will be accepted from current occasional teachers and external applicants is through Apply to Education. The ATE website (https://granderie.simplication.com/) will facilitate the submission of the required documentation.<p>Your application must include a cover letter, resume, copy of your current Certificate of Qualification, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references (at least one of which must be a current principal/supervisor, if applicable). <p>DEADLINE: September 19, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. INTERVIEWS : All applications will be subject to a screening process and some applicants may not be granted an interview. Applicants with a disability that requires an accommodation to enable their participation in the interview process should advise the Board when contacted for an interview.
