We are looking for Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team!
Early Childhood Education diploma and must have experience working with children, new graduates are welcome!
* Familiar with implementing and documenting emergent curriculum, meeting all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA and ELECT.
* Ability to communicate clearly and in a courteous manner towards children, parents, members of the school, and the public, both verbally and in writing.
* Able to lead and work cooperatively with team members.
* Ability to be flexible, show initiative, and work independently.
* Attend meetings and functions as required. Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
* Ability to stand for long periods, to lift objects and children, to bend and work at the height of children.
* Willingness to work in conditions involving exposure to bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
* Clear understanding of and commitment to work workplace health and safety standards.
* Must be available for flexible shifts between 8:00 am ? 6:00 pm Monday to Friday
Requirements:
1. Membership receipt for Registered Early Childhood Educator
2. A current Health Assessment, up to date immunization including a TB test or letter of Conscience/Religious exemptions
3. Criminal Reference Check (current or within 6 months)
4. Up to date Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
5. Able to move and lift children or equipment daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Daily reporting and record keeping ? attendance, daily log, communication logs, medication, etc.
2. responsible for the safety and supervision of children indoors and outdoors as well as on field trips.
3. Plan, implement & document at appropriate programs according to centre requirements.
4. work cooperatively with team members and other staff.
5. Establish and maintain a supportive and teaching relationship with the children.
6. Establish and maintain an excellent rapport with parents .
7. Fulfill all administrative duties as required.
