Join the Northwood team!Our Homecare Operations team is currently accepting applications for a Full Time 6 month Term Staffing Officer to join our Home Support.Reporting to the Staffing and Sheduling ManagerResponsibilities:Assigning and scheduling staff according to pre-approved requirements and standardsScheduling Northwood employee's groups of clients/shifts in a designated areaWorks with Supervisors to address issues/concernsAccepting new clients, processing Client increases, decreases and Client on holds from IntakeCreating and maintaining current and advanced schedulesCommunication with Clients and Field Staff via Phone, email and Procura textAccepting and approval of vacation requests via PortalTechnology troubleshootingCompleting other tasks as requiredQualifications:Grade 12 or equivalentDegree/Diploma (minimum 2 year program) in Business or Computer TechnologyOne to two years of relevant work experienceComputer software training required (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)Experience working with Pocura and Procura Mobile preferred/an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to regularly deal with challenging issues while maintaining a professional attitudeStrong logical and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to manage change effectivelyFlexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basisHours: 40 hours bi-weekly - Days/EveningsEffective Date: ImmediatelyIf you are interested in applying for this career opportunity please click APPLY!To learn more about Northwood please visit our website www.northwood.careNorthwood is proud to be an inclusive employer who encourages diverse applicants.
