*Position Overview:*
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Front-End Developer to join our growing software team. As a Front-End Developer at EMS Inc., you will be responsible for creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our web applications and dashboards. You will work closely with our backend team to integrate APIs and bring our data visualization tools to life. If you are passionate about creating seamless user experiences and have a keen eye for design, we want to hear from you. Note that this position is on-site first in Saskatoon, SK with potential for some hybrid workdays.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and maintain responsive and interactive web applications using modern front-end technologies.
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
* Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and optimize application performance.
* Implement data visualization tools and interactive dashboards.
* Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to our front-end development standards.
* Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
* Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks, ideally React.
* Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g. React-Query ).
* Familiarity with build tools and package managers (e.g. Webpack, Vite).
* Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.
* Knowledge of and experience with version control systems.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Bonus: Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
