<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are currently seeking an <span class="long-word">Apprentice/Journeyman</span> Sheet Metal Worker. Norwest is a sheet metal company. We fabricate most of our duct and fittings in house. We install HVAC systems for commercial properties. We are looking for registered sheet metal apprentices or sheet metal journeyman.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>install ductwork, spiral, and fittings, duct seal, etc</li><li>Keeping jobsites clean and tidy</li><li>Unload and load material</li><li>Proper use/care of power tools</li><li>Must comply with all safety policies and procedures</li></ul><p> <strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be registered apprentice with Apprenticeship Manitoba or Journeyman with Red Seal certificate</li><li>if level 3 or higher; knowledge of reading prints, specs, and shop drawings</li><li>Must be able to work from heights when required (ladder, scissor lift, roof, scaffold)</li><li>Able to lift 30+ lbs</li><li>Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Must have own vehicle</li><li>Able to work well with others</li></ul><p> </p></div>Company Description<div>Norwest Metal Fabricators started in 2010 as a small fabrication and installation company and has continuously been expanding ever since.
