Friday, 9 am - 5 pm with flexibility</strong></p><p><strong>Starting Date: ASAP</strong></p><p><strong>Submit Resume to: </strong><strong>yasir.ansari@homesfirst.on.ca</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>APPLICANTS MUST QUOTE ?RDA-24"</strong></p><p></p><p>Accomplishes Homes First Society objectives by collaborating with various staff within the agency to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI), support in carrying out and measuring the implementation of strategic directions, conduct evaluations, maintain partnerships, support the operation of a Client Information System, maintain data collection platforms, and strengthen capacity and commitment to data-informed decision-making. In addition, the Research and Data Analyst will research the factors that impact housing and homelessness and communicate what they?ve learned in order to make a bigger impact within Homes First and within the homeless and Housing sectors. The Research and Data Analyst will adhere to the mission statement, policies, and procedures at Homes First Society.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Support with the implementation of the strategic plan and strategic direction of Homes First. Support includes but is not limited to conducting evaluations, surveys, literature reviews, and using other strategies to collect data.</li><li>Work with staff and leadership across Homes First departments in the measuring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).</li><li>Writing reports, briefs, and memos to various stakeholders based on the strategic plan, evaluations, and measuring KPI?s.</li><li>Support with the collection and analysis of data and the completion of reports, briefs, memos, and funding proposals.</li><li>Assist with conducting evaluations to measure the effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements.</li><li>Utilize Evidence Based Practices (EBP) to support program design, grant writing, and policy development.</li><li>Assist in preparing qualitative and quantitative reports, publication papers, literature reviews, presentations, and briefs.</li><li>Support in conducting program Logic Models and evaluation frameworks.</li><li>Assist in disseminating knowledge to frontline staff, middle management, and senior leadership.</li><li>Support maintaining databases required for Homes First.</li><li>Assist with the writing of technical reports, guidance notes, briefing notes, and other publications as required. This may require collaborating with technical specialist consultants when necessary.</li><li>Assist with conducting research related to housing and homelessness issues to support policy development, analysis, and program development.</li><li>Support with conducting analysis of existing data and pull data for reports and use data visualization tools to evaluate programs and demonstrate impact.</li><li>Work as part of a team.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong> Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A degree in social sciences such as anthropology, sociology, social worker, or other relevant discipline.</li><li>1 year experience designing, implementing and /or leading projects, research or evaluations.</li><li>Experience using digital platforms strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to problem solve and provide support, including the ability to develop systemic solutions to how new and existing work is completed.</li><li>Familiarity with implementing trainings, capacity-strengthening or learning programs.</li><li>Experience producing reports and publications.</li><li>Ability to be self-directed, work i
