Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Chicken farming. Odours. Poultry and egg production. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Feed and tend animals. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Select livestock for sale. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: Experience an asset.
