Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Work with honey bees. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Extract honey manually. Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Treat bees with antibiotics . Automated honey extractor. Harvesting honey. Honey farm. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment.
