* Maintain appointment schedules * Greet patients and visitors * Check patients in and out, including the collection and verification of necessary information and documentation * Prepare and maintain patient charts, records and medical histories * Arrange patient referrals * Transcribe and type medical reports * Manage telephone and electronic communications * Billing, Bill patients and third-party payers * Process payments and insurance claims *Summary* As a Medical Secretary, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, utilizing your core skills in medical office experience, electronic medical records, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations in a medical setting. Your premium skills in Epic and medical terminology, enhance your ability to handle specialized tasks efficiently. Proficiency in multi-line phone systems will be essential for managing patient inquiries and appointments effectively.
