Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Aboriginal band council. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Administrative and office activities. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Target audience: Aboriginal groups. Elderly. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
