Compass Clinic (compassclinic.ca) is a multidisciplinary clinic offering psychological assessments for children and youth with a range of learning and behavior issues. We are looking for two experienced psychometrists to join our thriving practice, working under the supervision of registered psychologists: We are seeking a candidate with coursework and direct clinical experience in the administration of standardized tests, including Level C tests. We are looking for someone who is already comfortable with the WISC-V and WIAT-III. Experience with the WPPSI-IV, NEPSY-2, WRAML2, RCFT & Bayley would be an asset. A master?s degree in psychology (clinical, educational, or counseling) would be an asset. Job responsibilities will include administering and scoring standardized tests of cognition, academic achievement, memory, and other skills, writing up behavioural observations and some test results, and summarizing file information such as report cards and previous reports. Applicants should be comfortable working with children who are anxious or inattentive, and who may need encouragement or incentives to do their best work. Applicants should be friendly and flexible but also well-organized and attentive to detail, with good time management skills. Applicants should provide details of their experience including a list of tests they are familiar with. This is a flexible time job based on the candidate availability reporting to the office to do the assessment only and the rest can be done remotely. Able to work on Saturday's would be an asset. Competitive pay per assessment. Compass has two locations: main office is conveniently located at Commercial and Grant Streets in Vancouver. The second office is in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. We are looking to hire one Psychometrist per location.
