<p>The London District Catholic School Board has a reputation for excellence, with more than 4,500 employees working together to educate approximately 27,500 students at 44 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools and St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education within Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin counties, including the cities of London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Woodstock.<p>The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for: <p>Adult & Continuing Education Mathematics Teacher <p>at St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education <p>The successful candidate: Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree<p> Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers<p> Intermediate/Senior Mathematics qualifications required<p> Successful secondary teaching experience preferred<p> Proficiency with D2L preferred<p> Understanding of blended learning and on-line teaching pedagogy <p> Experience in a Catholic school preferred<p> Previous experience in continuing education programs an asset<p> A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession<p> A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life<p> Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques<p> Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices<p> Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all student <p>Qualifications appropriate to the position are required.
