*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through the practice of acupuncture and holistic healing methods. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor their progress in a supportive and professional environment. *Duties* - Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and medical history to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. - Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles and techniques that ensure patient comfort and safety. - Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies, providing guidance on lifestyle changes that may enhance their health outcomes. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in condition. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients, including referrals when necessary. - Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and medical terminology to enhance patient care. *Experience* - A valid license to practice acupuncture in the state where you will be employed is required. - Previous experience in a clinical setting or hospital environment is preferred but not mandatory. - Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members. - Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care, empathy, and professionalism are crucial for success in this role.
