*Job description* *Job Overview* We are seeking a Grader Operator to join our snow removal team for the 2024-2025 Winter season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a skidsteer, loader or grader. Employees will be guaranteed a a wage of $3000 every 4 weeks. Schedule will be evening & weekends, based on the amount of snow fall we have. *Responsibilities* - Operate equipment - Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment - Work in adverse weather conditions. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment. *Qualifications* - Experience operating graders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment - Mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs - Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus - Strong attention to detail and safety protocols Job Type: Seasonal Contract length: 5 months Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 6 months Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Grader operation: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (required) * Heavy Equipment operating certification (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
