Job Description Personal Care AttendantTemporary Full Time Location: Long Term Care, HVGBThe primary purpose of this position is to work as a member of a nursing team under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse providing a high standard of care to patients at the Long Term Care and in accordance with the LGH Model of Nursing Clinical Practice. The employee is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for clients, families, co-workers and themselves and reports to the Resident Care Manager.Qualifications:" Graduation from High School or equivalency;" Successful completion from a recognized Personal Care Program of equivalent;" Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR);" Breastfeeding education;" The successful applicant will be required top submit a satisfactory code of conduct.Duties: (Included but not limited to)" Providing nursing care to patients;" Responds to emergency and situation and codes;" Assist with the orientation of new staff" Documents according to organizational policies and unit guidelines;" Participates in quality assurance/improvement activities;" Transports clients and specimens;" Other related duties as required. Travel may be required, maybe required to work alone.Salary:" CG-24 of the NAPE-HS salary scales $21.54 to $23.73 per hour, plus the applicable Labrador Allowance.Hours of Work:" 75 hours Bi-weekly; variable shifts.Interested applicants please submit resume, stating competition number 2022000491N
