One of the core goals of these services is to help people with mental illness develop the personal tools to lead meaningful and productive lives.Position Summary:The Community Program Coordinator is the face of CMHA of NB in the communities they serve and is responsible for promoting the mental health of all people through education sessions, public awareness activities, advocacy, and helping people navigate to existing resources. The Community Program Coordinator's main responsibilities include delivering presentations and webinars on mental health and wellness, facilitating provincial programs and workshops, coordinating, and facilitating educational and therapeutic based programming, planning anti-stigma awareness activities, and representing CMHA of NB on community committees. This position is a community-based position rather than an office position. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Regional Team Leader at CMHA of NB.Responsibilities:Program and Service Delivery:Deliver CMHA of NB approved core presentations on mental health, mental illness, and wellness.Responsible for scheduling, securing venue, advertising, promotion, preparing participant handouts, taking registrations, and maintaining a program participant and evaluation database.Ensure that creative briefs are submitted to the communications team in a timely manner according to their guidelines.Facilitate self-help/support groups or serve as a resource to existing support groups within the area.Act as a regional resource navigator. Responsible for following up on all requests stemming from education sessions, such as referring an individual to Addictions and Mental Health Services or other agency and/or providing additional information on programs and services, etc.Promote and facilitate programs and workshops such as Changing Minds, Co-Workers First, ASIST, safeTALK, and Living Life to The Full (if certified).Arrange for professionals to lead therapeutic based programming. Ensure that facilitator agreements are signed prior to groups being advertised.Provide facilitators with coordination, appreciation, and support such as providing materials and space.Program Development, Quality, Safety and Monitoring:Oversight of regional service delivery including meeting standards of practice, adhering to PHIPPA and confidentiality.Responsible for ensuring the goals and objectives of a specific program are met in accordance with established priorities, time, and funding limitations.To work in
