Build a City. Build a Future at the City of Surrey ScopeThe City of Surrey's RCMP Detachment is looking to fill a Regular full time Emergency & Operational Planning Administrator opportunity. The successful will perform various tasks involving moderate responsibility associated with the detachment?s Emergency & Operational Planning unit. ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to:Assist in the communication, administration and clerical tasks in emergent events. Assist unit to plan and schedule movie events involving police officers. Assist in event management planning and organizing a variety of events. Compile the reporting documents and data entry for a variety of different units. Assist with Community-Industry Response Group with communication and compiling data. Provide support in the maintenance of administrative and confidential files. Maintain and order supplies. Schedule meetings, take minutes and answer correspondence as required. Perform general clerical duties. Perform other job-related duties as required. QualificationsA qualified applicant will have:Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by other courses within the RCMP operations Minimum of three years related experience in an office environment. A typing speed of 45 WPM. The appropriate level of RCMP Security Clearance is required for this position.
