*Purpose*
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our monthly financial reporting. You will be hands-on with financial records, identifying key insights, and assisting with the successful implementation of a new ERP system.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
· Prepare and examine financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
· Analyze financial statements and reports, spotting trends and discrepancies.
· Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system by preparing and validating financial data.
· Perform bank reconciliations to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
· Provide support to the accounting team with ad hoc tasks.
· Assist with preparing Year-End Reports.
*Skills*
· Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
· *Excel Mastery*: Advanced skills in data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation.
· Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
· Experience with implementation of ERP systems is an asset.
· Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
