*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. *Responsibilities* - Prepare ingredients for menu items according to recipes - Cook and plate dishes as per restaurant standards - Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant's guidelines - Maintain a clean and organized work station - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operations *Requirements* - Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting - Knowledge of food safety practices - Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure - Strong communication skills and a team player mentality - Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Holidays * Morning shift Experience: * Cooking: 2 years (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) Work Location: In person- LocationPrince George, BC
