*Job purpose*
As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for executing sales orders from beginning to end, to provide our customers with the level or urgency and care they require to support their project requirements. You will also be responsible developing new leads, communicating with new and existing customers, and ensuring a smooth sales process.
To be successful in inside sales you will build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. Your efforts will promote the company?s product line and pricing, while being professional and attentive to the customer needs. Teamwork is vital and communication is essential.
*Duties and responsibilities*
* Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
* Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
* Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email.
* Assisting in the storefront offering, including helping over the counter sales, walk in customers, restocking shelves and more.
* Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
* Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers/vendors.
* Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
* Staying informed about competing products and services.
* Upselling products and services.
* Researching and qualifying new leads.
* Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
* Assist Branch Manager with day-to-day office operations as required
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in inside sales or a related sales position preferred.
* 3-5 year min. experience in the industrial and safety industry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
* Experience with SAGE 100 (or similar software).
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Strong listening and sales skills.
* Ability to achieve targets.
*Working conditions*
* Work outside normal business hours may be require.
* Comfortable lifting to 50 lbs
* Travels may be necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
