*Job Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in various payroll systems and software, as well as strong analytical skills to handle account reconciliations and data entry tasks.
*Duties*
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using systems such as ADP, QBO, or Workday.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions related to payroll transactions.
- Conduct data entry tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure proper documentation for new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in payroll administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, UltiPro, Workday, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
