Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a *Pouring Engineer* at our *Toronto* manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for organizing all manufacturing activities in the pouring department in an efficient, safe, and quality focused manner.

As the *Pouring Engineer, *you are responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of foam orders while adhering to Company?s guiding principles and value of order.
Your additional responsibilities as *Pouring Engineer* will include:
· Responsible for the completion of all production activities while maintaining value of order.
· Train, guide, and coach hourly workers and lead person.
· Adhere to and enforce health and safety rules and protocols.
· Enforce quality program standards and records keeping requirements.
· Review production schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities.
· Ensure productivity levels and all operational objectives are met.
· Collaborate with Technical Support Group at RTC.
· Lead all chemical release remediation activities.
· Maintain production reports.
· Conduct periodic observations in manufacturing areas to enforce health & safety standards.
· Review and approve personnel time records on a daily basis.
· Use Kaizen continuous improvement methods to achieve goals.
· Monitor and maintain SAP production reports and maintain applied knowledge of relevant SAP transactions.
· Maintain applied knowledge of company's H&S and quality management system.
Skills and Requirements
· Leadership abilities to coach employees and boost morale.
· Employee training skills and experience.
· A strong working knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing business.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong verbal and written communication.
· Ability to work with a team and independently in a time-sensitive environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
· SAP experience is an asset.
