*Compensation:* $20.51-$24.13 per hour plus annual accrual of 3 weeks vacation, 3 float days, 10 wellness days and comprehensive benefits package, including RRSP matching following probation. *Location:* London, ON, *Schedule:* 40 hrs/week; onsite Monday to Friday 8:30 am ? 4:30 pm *Apply by:* _Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11:59 p.m._ - Submit a resume and cover letter via email to employment@humanacs.org citing above job posting number. *Summary of Roles & Responsibilities:* * Working in the Finance Department, providing hands-on support to manage tasks in a fast-paced office environment with defined priorities and fixed monthly deadlines * Perform day-to-day financial transactions: receive, verify, code, post and record accounts payable invoices for EFT and cheque runs * First point of contact for incoming calls from vendors and staff * Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues * Work successfully with diverse groups and demonstrate commitment to principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice *Qualifications:* * Completion of post-secondary education in business administration, accounting or finance preferred * Minimum two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience or similar role * Familiarity with Sage accounting software * Reliable with a demonstrated commitment to being a dependable member of a team * Understanding of skills and knowledge requirements specific to the role: * High attention to accuracy and detail; Ability to make independent decisions based on policy and procedure; Exceptional Microsoft Office experience and skill level; Proficiency in math and accounting principles; Excellent phone etiquette; Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation * Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional, and personal boundaries * Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets *Requirements:* * Satisfactory Police Check completed within the last six (6) months (mandatory) * Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.51-$24.13 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * What accounting software have you been trained in?
