*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various equipment and machinery. *Responsibilities* - Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings - Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace defective parts - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations *Requirements* - Proficiency in HVAC systems and industrial electrician work - Strong understanding of logic controllers and industrial automation systems - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Previous experience in boiler maintenance is a plus - experience in mine and mill insulation and tear downs. - experience with mines and mill maintenance - must have own tools for job sites and a reliable vehicle - must carry a red seal endorsement Job Type: Casual Pay: $36.63-$42.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed * Weekends only Application question(s): * Must have own personal tools Experience: * Millwright: 2 years (required) * Maintenance: 2 years (required) * Industrial maintenance: 2 years (required) * Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Red Seal (required) Work Location: On the road Expected start date: 2024-10-15- LocationVernon, BC
