DEPARTMENT: Health RecordsBARGAINING UNIT: CUPEJOB TYPE: CasualSCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken EnglishNOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:Maintains filing system by providing filing and retrieval services.REQUIREMENTS:High school graduation or general studies (G.E.D.) plus additional courses of up to six months or equivalent such as keyboarding and records management;Ability to file material in alphabetical/numerical order;Good knowledge of Word and Excel programs;Must take the medical terminology course according to the set deadline;Ability to set priorities;Effective communication skills and ability to treat patients, visitors, etc. with courtesy;Ability to work independently and as a team member;Physical ability to perform assigned duties;Good previous work history (performance and attendance);Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.Should there be no fully qualified applicants, this position will not necessarily be reposted.
