Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Prepare and submit reports. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 3-4 people. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Team player. Dependability. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.). Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination . Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for mature workers . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
